Correctional Officer Joins Command Ranks

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Sheriff Chuck Jenkins is pleased to announce the promotion of Kenneth Anthony to the rank of lieutenant at the FCSO Adult Detention Center (ADC), effective Saturday, June 5, 2021.

ADC Implements On-Site Family Visitations

Effective Saturday, June 5, the Frederick County Adult Detention Center (ADC) Warden will implement a modified on-site family visitation schedule. This will be the first time in-person, with no contact, visitations will start back up since the ADC staff implemented COVID-19 safety measures in March 2020.

FCSO Responds to Stabbing Call in Jefferson

At approximately 10:30 p.m., on Friday, May 7, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies were dispatched to the 4400 block of Lewis Mill Court in Jefferson, Maryland, for a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult male victims. One victim suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and the second victim had severe head injuries.
