ADC Implements On-Site Family Visitations
June 3, 2021
Effective Saturday, June 5, the Frederick County Adult Detention Center (ADC) Warden will implement a modified on-site family visitation schedule. This will be the first time in-person, with no contact, visitations will start back up since the ADC staff implemented COVID-19 safety measures in March 2020.

Adult Detention Center Command Officer Retires

A dedicated civil servant, with more than 5 years in the U.S. Army and 20 years of dedicated service to the residents of Frederick County, Lt. Jason Cave, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Adult Detention Center (ADC) Support Services commander, recently retired effective, May 31, 2021.

With more than 35 years of dedicated service to the residents of Frederick and Carroll counties, Major Tim Clarke, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Administrative Services commander, recently ended his watch and retired effective, May 31, 2021.

FCSO Responds to Stabbing Call in Jefferson
May 8, 2021
At approximately 10:30 p.m., on Friday, May 7, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies were dispatched to the 4400 block of Lewis Mill Court in Jefferson, Maryland, for a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult male victims. One victim suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and the second victim had severe head injuries.
