LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISIONS

Law Enforcement Bureau

The Law Enforcement Bureau is led by Lt. Colonel Jeff Eyler, who provides overall direction and leadership for all law enforcement functions of the Sheriff’s Office. This bureau is made up of several divisions that work together to protect and serve the community through patrol, investigations, support services, and administrative functions.

 

Operations Division

​​

The Operations Division is where most sworn deputies serve. This division responds to calls for service, enforces laws, conducts investigations, and ensures the safety of the community.

 

Patrol Operations

​Commander: Captain Brian Woodward


Under the Patrol Operations section, deputies maintain a visible presence

throughout the county, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, and

provide a variety of services:

  • Patrol teams

  • Honor Guard

  • K-9 Unit

  • Community Deputies

  • School Resource Officers

  • Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement (PACE) Team

  • Traffic Unit

  • Civil Order & Firearms Surrender Programs

  • Crime Prevention

  • Crossing Guards

Special Operations

Commander: Captain Sedat Caliskan 


The Special Operations section includes specialized units that provide support for investigations and critical incidents:

  • Crime Analysis

  • Criminal Investigations (including Internet Crimes Against Children, Fugitive Unit, Property & Persons Crimes, Victim Services, and Sex Offender Registry)

  • Evidence Unit

  • Pawn Unit

  • Narcotics Investigations

  • Crisis Negotiation Team

  • SWAT Team

Judicial Services

Commander: Captain Jason Null 


Judicial Services manages law enforcement support for the courts:

  • Civil Process Unit (serving legal papers)

  • Court Security Unit (ensuring safety in court facilities)
