Citizens must present a valid, state issued identification card.
The administrative fee for fingerprinting is $20.
Each person must pay the required fee associated with the type of background check they are requesting in addition to the administrative fee listed above.
Four forms of payment will be accepted: cash, credit / debit card, personal check, or money order made payable to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
American Express & FCU is NOT accepted.
Customers must provide a printed (hard copy) of any paperwork associated with their fingerprinting needs. We cannot accept an image of the paperwork on a cell phone or tablet.
Fingerprinting will be CLOSED on county holidays and during weather related closures.
