Fatal Single-Vehicle Collision in Myersville

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MYERSVILLE, Md. (June 4, 2026) –On June 3, 2026, at approximately 8:58 p.m., deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to the 4400 block of Middle Point Road in Myersville for a reported single-vehicle rollover crash.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was traveling westbound on Middle Point Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and overturned.
Personnel from the Division of Fire and Rescue Services (DFRS) responded to the scene and performed life-saving measures; however, Justin Thomas Nalborczyk, 25, of Myersville, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Nalborczyk was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.
Based on the preliminary investigation, excessive speed and alcohol impairment are believed to have been contributing factors in the crash.
