FCSO Arrests Frederick Man on Child Pornography Charges

FREDERICK, Md. (March 28, 2025) –On March 26, 2025, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) executed a residential search warrant at a home in the 7000 block of Hames Court in Frederick, MD, as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession of child pornography.
The investigation began on February 13, 2025, when detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding child sexual abuse material. Following the tip, a warrant was served on the associated social media platform, which resulted in the discovery of three child sexual abuse material files.
As a result of the investigation, 26-year-old Christopher Aviles, of Frederick, was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. Aviles is a Tier 1 Sex Offender listed on the Frederick County Sex Offender Registry.
