Frederick Man Arrested After Traffic Stop Leads to Large Drug Seizure

FREDERICK, Md. (February 20, 2026) – On February 19, 2026, at approximately 2:54 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Taney Avenue and Homestead Avenue for observed traffic violations. The driver and sole occupant, Jordan Perry-Walker, 31, of Frederick, exited the vehicle, refused commands by the deputy, and fled on foot. After a brief pursuit, he was taken into custody.
During the arrest, officers found controlled substances on Perry-Walker’s person, including PCP and cannabis. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded psilocybin mushrooms. In total, deputies seized approximately 361 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 13.7 grams of PCP, 70.6 grams of marijuana, seven jars of THC wax, eight jars of marijuana moon rocks, three bottles of promethazine, and cut OxyContin pills.
Perry-Walker was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. He faces multiple charges, including:
· Felony possession of PCP, LSD, or hallucinogens with intent to distribute
· Felony possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute (two separate charges)
· Misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement
· Misdemeanor possession of cannabis with intent to distribute
· Misdemeanor possession of non-cannabis controlled substances (four separate charges)
