Man Arrested Following Search Warrant Related to Ongoing Sex Offense Investigation

FREDERICK, Md. (August 7, 2025)—On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Detectives with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 7500 block of Woodville Road as part of an ongoing sex offense investigation.

During the search, Detectives arrested Mark Brigham, 35, of Mount Airy, and seized multiple pieces of evidence from the residence, including electronics, firearms, ammunition, and other related items.

Brigham was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center (FCADC), where he was charged with the following:

·         Sexual Abuse of a Minor

·         2nd Degree Rape – Child Under 14

·         4th Degree Sex Offense

·         Possession of Child Pornography

·         Sexual Solicitation of a Minor

·         Child Pornography – Film Sex Act

·         Indecent Exposure to a Minor

·         Display Obscene Matter to a Minor

·         Firearm Possession with a Felony Conviction
