Two Found Deceased Inside Frederick Home; Investigation Ongoing

FREDERICK, Md. (June 23, 2026) –The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two individuals who were found deceased inside a residence in the 6100 block of Baldridge Circle in Frederick.
On Monday, June 22, 2026, at approximately 4:35 p.m., deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office and personnel from Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services responded to the residence after a family member reported finding two individuals unresponsive inside the home.
Upon arrival, first responders located two deceased adults inside the residence. The deceased have been identified as a 67-year-old woman and her 34-year-old adult son. Out of respect for the family, their names are not being released at this time.
Detectives with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded and assumed the investigation. Based on information developed thus far, investigators believe the deaths resulted from circumstances confined to the residence and involving only the individuals present at the location. Detectives are not seeking any suspects and have no information suggesting any ongoing danger to the public.
The investigation remains active. Both individuals have been transported to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where autopsies will be conducted. The cause and manner of death for both individuals remain pending the results of those examinations and the completion of the investigation.
Due to the active investigation, no additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the deaths are being released at this time.
